Before moving south, Kimberly served as the President of the Kansas City/Mid-America chapter. She has also been an Allied Member of the Kansas City Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Michael Clark Michael Clark is an internationally published outdoor photographer specializing in adventure sports, travel, and landscape photography. He produces intense, raw images of athletes pushing their sports to the limit and has risked life and limb on a variety of assignments to bring back stunning images of rock climbers, mountaineers, kayakers, and mountain bikers in remote locations around the world. He uses unique angles, bold colors, strong graphics and dramatic lighting to capture fleeting moments of passion, gusto, flair and bravado in the outdoors. Tom Kennedy is an internationally known visual journalist with 35 years of print and online journalism experience, including positions as Managing Editor for Multimedia at washingtonpost.com and Director of Photography at the National Geographic Society. He has created, directed, and edited visual journalism projects that have earned Pulitzer Prizes, as well as EMMY, Peabody, and Edward R. Murrow awards. As the Managing Editor for Multimedia at washingtonpost.com, Kennedy conceptualized and developed its multimedia section, and created the first documentary video team to produce stories for a newspaper-based web site. He recently served on the faculty of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University as the endowed Alexia Foundation chair in the multimedia, photography, and design department. Gail Mooney, along with her partner Thomas Kelly, run Kelly/Mooney Productions, a visual communications company in New Jersey. Gail has 30 years of experience in still photography, shooting for international magazines, major corporations and advertising agencies. Gail started shooting 35mm motion footage for stock in 1996, and in 1999 started producing and shooting video projects. Since then, her company has become fully integrated with multimedia. Portrait of Michael Weschler, Director/Photographer Michael Weschler is a National Board Director for the ASMP and recipient of the 2014 Communication Arts Photo Annual Award. He started doing portraits of his friends at the age of seven with a Kodak 110 camera and while always being “the kid with the camera” he began to shoot editorial assignments and feature stories regularly for The New York Times. His portrait work grew to include notable personalities such as, Richard Gere, Liam Neeson, Donatella Versace, Liev Schreiber, Don Cheadle, Chuck Close, John McEnroe, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus to name a few. Michael’s work has run in magazines such as GQ, Vogue, Architectural Digest, Oprah, Allure, Life, Newsweek, Stern, Men’s Health, Dwell, Food & Wine and more. Selina Maitreya has been a highly regarded consultant to commercial photographers for the last 30 years. Ed McDonald‘s commercial work has garnered some of the industry’s top awards, both locally and nationally. Last year, a body of Ed’s work was selected by the Black Book AR 100 as one of the Top Ten Best Photographed Annual Reports in the world. This year, another was honored in the AR 100 for back-to-back honors. Ed McDonald graduated from the Southeastern Center for Photographic Studies in 1984 and has been a commercial illustrative photographer in the Central Florida region for the past 24 years, working on highly visible commercial accounts in the Advertising and Corporate industry sectors.

Thomas Werner

Thomas Werner is a graduate of The University of Wisconsin with a BA in Communications, The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena with BA in Photography, and Long Island University with an MFA in New Media and Performance. Thomas is a professor at Parsons The New School for Design, owns Thomas Werner Gallery, and works as a commercial and fine art photographer in Manhattan. A former Director on the ASMP National Board, Werner lectures internationally on Photography, Video, Education, Business, and the Art Market; has worked with the State Department as a cultural representative in Russia; has been a photography consultant for COACH and Rodale Publishing; and has curated gallery and museum exhibitions in the United States and internationally.

Steve Whittaker

Steve Whittaker’s clients include architects, interior designers, advertising agencies, graphic designers, construction, REITs, hospitality and corporate direct clients. His assignments cover everything from aerials, some life style, and interior spaces to illuminating the exterior surfaces and interior space of buildings for dramatic dusk images. Steve is past President of the ASMP Northern California Chapter and joined the ASMP National board 2 years ago where he serves as one of four chapter liaisons.
