ASMP South Florida receives a Grant from ASMP Foundation

ASMP SFL Board Meeting, receiving the check from the ASMP Foundation

Dear all

The ASMP Foundation, after careful consideration, reviewed and approved funds to help finance the costs to carry on with our event “Celebrating the Female Vision: Women Photographers in South Florida” and we at the South Florida Chapter can’t be any happier!

As we have  explained before in other post, we plan on gathering the largest number of SFL women photographers ever assembled in one place, and we hope that this meeting and the interaction with relevant personalities of the of the media, Fine Art, Advertising, Legal, Journalistic and Educational areas, works well to build a more solid sense of community for our shooters.

We are making strong emphasis in the relevant fact that the ASMP SFL Chapter already has over 40 women photographers, and we will make our best efforts to promote them throughout the event, while also bringing relevance to all other non ASMP shooters, who struggle in South Florida in their pursue of their careers.

The meeting will be at the Freedom Tower in Downtown Miami on November the 9th. Stay tuned for details of the programs, as we confirm participation of different personalities to the event.

Thanks for your cooperation and participation in this project!
