Arnold Newman member #181 has died. His images, live on. We and those ahead will continue to learn from him and that is his continuing legacy.

Arnold was an old friend especially since we both grew up in Miami Beach and went to the same high school (at different times).
This photo was made at the National Art Club in New York on May 18, 2006, when Arnold received the National Arts Club Gold Medal of Honor for photography.
I was there because Arnold was an old friend.
