Philadelphia, PA… The American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) will hold an important symposium, "Sustainable Business Models: Issues & Trends Facing Visual Artists," on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at The TimesCenter in New York. Thought leaders will discuss the impact of shifts in the industry, and creative approaches to compensation that will lead to sustainable business models for imaging professionals. The symposium is free of charge to all interested parties who pre-register. For more information and to register, go here.

According to ASMP President Shawn Henry, "At this critical time in our industry, we believe that bringing together experts with various perspectives will stimulate important conversation about the options and opportunities for those who produce and use visual works." ASMP Executive Director Eugene Mopsik added, "This symposium is one of the many valuable resources ASMP offers to help members and all visual artists succeed in this constantly changing marketplace." The day's events will be streamed live and available for viewing afterward.
